Such an amazing necklace. Very very old & unique. It is a series of small masks… They look like Noh masks… Looks Asian from the eyes. Made of raw looking unfinished brown pottery clay…. And strung by tiny black beads… Not sure what the beads are… But definitely not plastic. Few beads broke towards where the clasp is and they become like powder… Did not break like plastic. Yet I have not seen another like this. A piece of art to wear… A collector’s treasure! Rare to come by. U feel like u are wearing a part of some beautiful old world play.. Towards back , string can be seen near closure. Nothing that takes away from its beauty. Its so old & unusual!
