Stomachers were worn on the bodice just below the breast and went from a modest size to opulent pieces trailing wide and long down the entire front of a gown. Stunning 3 in height and in excellent condition missing 3 small sapphires and more pearls could be added. Circa 1800 and a true delight for use or for any collection. Very very unusual piece!
