This appears to be very old. The pictures truly do not do this piece justice. Layered pieces of mother of pearl, turquoise and I think red coral on a piece of what I think is black jet or slate, the patina on the beads is almost black, with some heishi pieces of turquoise accenting and white heishi beads. It measures 19 1/2 end to end. I have not attempted to clean this piece and it does have a lot of grime and dirt on the beads and stones and in the groves. I think any collector would be thrilled to add such a piece to their collection and apologize that I do not have more information on the item.
