This gold color brooch features two lions holding a shield. They have their heads turned away. There is a crown resting on the shield. At the end of the piece is a banner that says Providentiae Memor. This more or less translates to “keep Providence in mind”. It is the national slogan and crest for Saxony in Germany. Piece is either Miriam Haskell or a similar piece. It has a gold chain tassel hanging from it. Brooch is about 1 3/4 long. With the tassel it is about 4 1/4 inches long. It has a couple of black marks. One is on the 2nd M or “memor” and one is on the shield just above here. I do not know if this has any gold or is just gold in color. All sales are final.
