I’m not exactly sure what these beads are or what they are made of. They appear to be Tibeten or Chinese prayer beads, carved out of some kind of light brwon nut. They are highly detailed with each deity Buddah? Having different faces and the reverse of each is a skull. There are 18 beads, one plain bead and one odd shaped bead. They are strung on a cotton type thread. See ruler for size on photos. There are 2 or 3 skulls that may be missing teeth, each skull looks like its intentionaly irregular in the mouth area, I’ve taken lots of photos. There are no breaks, cracks or damage to the deity side of the beads. They appear to be very old. They are very awesome, I have owned for many years. Some photos are taken using close up setting, please refer to my measurements and weights.
